All specific tour information and related questions can be found at the bottom of each tour page. Below are some general questions relating to all of our food tours.
All of our food tours are inclusive of specified food and beverages.
Our tours, except for our Tastes of the World Booze and Bites Tour also include pickup and drop off. Surcharges may apply for locations outside of a 10km radius of the Brisbane CBD.
All dietary requirements will be catered to however they must be arranged prior to a tour. You will be asked about any dietary requirements upon confirming your booking and it is your responsibility to inform us of them.
All dietary requirements will be given to the venues to ensure appropriate catering it provided.
Venues are predominately wheelchair friendly or can be altered if necessary and all people with disability are encouraged to join our tours.
If a wheelchair friendly vehicle is required this will need to be arranged ahead of time so please email jamielee@delectabletours.com.au to inform us of any requirements.

No, by running small group experiences, we are able to pick you up from your hotel or accommodation.
Please note, surcharges may apply if you require a pick up or drop off further than 10 km from the CBD.
Pick up usually is about 15 minutes before the scheduled start time, however, you will receive confirmation with a scheduled time after your booking is made.

We’ve tried them! And, we get to try a lot of places in our line of work. Plus, they are highly regarded by the community of foodies who have also visited them and left glowing reviews.
No, please email to arrange a special menu based on what you would like to have. Depending on this, we may be able to reduce the price of your ticket. Perhaps, you don’t want any alcoholic drinks, or maybe you don’t like coffee, wine or cocktails, or perhaps you’re a champagne or beer only kind of person. Yes. You are able to purchase additional items on the day if you so wish, or products to take home with you again.
We have a number of precautions in place to address the associated risks with Covid-19.
In the event of a lockdown, we’ll offer you a full refund or reschedule your experience for you.
Preparation
Yes. As we run on-demand tours, limit them to small numbers, and have to book things in with venues, we do require reservations ahead of time. Generally, 24 – 48 hours is sufficient.
We will be visiting both casual and smart casual venues, but nothing too formal, so wear what you’re comfortable in.

Policies
In general, bookings cancelled 48 hours or less prior to a tour will incur a 50% cancellation fee, and therefore only 50% of the booking payment will be refunded. Bookings cancelled prior to this 48-hour will receive a refund. However, to address the associated risks with Covid-19, if you are unwell before or on the day of your tour, please consider rescheduling your booking. Your booking fee may be waived for exceptional circumstances if you need to cancel or reschedule with less than two days’ notice. You may also be asked to provide supporting evidence such as a medical certificate. Notification for instance, in person, via email, mobile phone ‘text message’ or any other means will be accepted subject to confirmation in writing.
Tours rescheduled within 48 hours or less of the original booking may incur a $50 change fee. Tours rescheduled prior to this time will not incur a fee.
Refunds will be made via the same format and account that the purchases were made with. Refunds will be processed within 7 days of cancellation. Any fees charged by a third party as part of the original payment made (credit card, PayPal etc) are not generally refundable
No shows or those who show up sick to a tour will not be entitled to a refund.If you arrive for a tour and are deemed unwell or have Covid-19 symptoms, the host has the right to refuse service and must insist that anyone with these symptoms does not enter the vehicle or commence the tour.
Yes, we allow children on all privately booked tours. Please email jamielee@delectabletours.com.au to arrange this.
Unfortunately, we aren’t licenced to allow you to consume alcohol in our general vehicles.
We do, however, work with another transport company on special occasions in which they allow alcohol to be consumed in their vehicles. Please contact jamielee@delectabletours.com.au to discuss this as an option for your tour.
Our public vehicle tours accommodate up to 8 guests. Our public walking tour accommodates up to 10 guests.
Private tours can run from as little as 1 person right up to 50 or more, depending on the experience.
To reschedule, please contact us at your earliest convenience on +61 447.420.997. Tours rescheduled within 48 hours or less of the original booking may incur a $50 change fee. Tours rescheduled prior to this time will not incur a fee.
If you arrive for a tour and are deemed unwell or have Covid-19 symptoms, the host has the right to refuse service and must insist that anyone with these symptoms does not enter the vehicle or commence the tour.
Hosts will continue to be directed to stay at home if they are sick and to go home immediately if they become unwell.
If a person develops flu-like symptoms during a tour, they will be separated by placing them in an area away from others. The person will be provided with tissues, hand sanitiser and a face mask, to cover their coughs and will have either a taxi or ambulance (when deemed necessary) to take them to their home, accommodation, or to seek medical assistance.
If you become ill prior to a tour, please call us on +61 447 420 997 at least an hour prior to the start of your tour. We will provide you with a voucher or refund (partial or full if associated costs haven’t already been incurred).
