We’re making some changes to our signature vehicle tours – Delectable Taste of Queensland, and Delectable Taste of Farm-to-Table Indulgence.
These will now be run as private only tours on an ongoing basis. This was something we implemented temporarily as a COVID-19 measure, however, as we continue to see demand for this, we’ve updated exactly how these are run, what is included, and the pricing model. Basically, we’ve made them even more inclusive and flexible for your private group in a way that we can continue to sustain!
If you have a gift voucher for either of these tours (purchased prior to June 1, 2022), nothing will change for you. We will still require a minimum of two people to run the tour (at the reduced price), and it will be run privately. If you have any trouble booking these in, please email us.
Here is what will change…
Delectable Taste of Queensland changes
- You will receive a larger lunch with multiple dishes equating to two courses
- Can select a cocktail or a couple of glasses of wine or beer with your lunch
- Will have full platter size servings of cheese rather than tasting slices (anything left will also be taken home with you)
- You can choose if you’d like to make an additional scenic stop on the day or not
- Enjoy a tasting of two to three bottles of locally made wine and take the rest with you, or finish them on the day!
- Increased pick up/drop off radius to 20km instead of 10km
- Available for bookings on a Sunday as of June 5
Delectable Taste of Farm-to-Table Indulgence changes
- You will now be able to enjoy a couple of glasses of wine or beer, or even share a bottle with your first lunch course
- Will enjoy both a cheese and local produce platter at your first lunch stop instead of just selecting one
- You can choose where, and if you’d like to make an additional scenic stop
- Being a private tour, we can also easily substitute a stop or two to better suit your tastes. Don’t like seafood? No problem, we’ll take you somewhere else and focus on other local produce? Not interested in visiting a coffee plantation or winery? No problem, there are plenty of great farms in the region!
- Increased pick up/drop off radius to 20km instead of 10km
- If any venue or farm isn’t available to visit on a set day, we may need to substitute the type of place we visit, however, we will contact you in advance to let you know and make sure you are still happy to proceed.

Delectable Taste of Queensland will run Thursday to Sunday.
Delectable Farm-to-Table Indulgence will run Friday to Sunday.
